Petr is one of the best service engineers for complicated high tech systems like Transmission Electron Microscopes I have ever met.
During my time as Business Line Manager in Philips and FEI Company (now Thermo Fisher), I learned that delivering good "Service" is the key success factor in the industry. And delivering good "Service" means having well trained and experienced service engineers. In DENSsolutions we worked with Petr in the last 6 months in various jobs.
Amongst others, he repaired and installed our Tecnai 20 and now we are getting really very nice in situ TEM results from this tool. Petr is disciplined, understands the critical technologies in Electron Optics and last but not least he is a magician in terms of dexterity. As a bonus he is very tall so he can reach without the help of stairs even the top parts of the electron gun.
So I can really recommend the services that Petr. But please, do not give him too much work, as we need him ourselves in DENSsolutions as well as in CryoSol-World to keep the equipment in our TEM lab in tip top condition.
